ICC has taken action on the India-Pak team, and imposed a fine on it
The ICC announced on Wednesday that India and Pakistan had been fined 40% of the match fee.
This is because for "slow over rate" in the Asia Cup 2022 Group A match.
The ICC fined the Indian team Rs 13.20 lakh and the Pakistani team Rs 5.92 lakh for their slow over rate.
Because both captains were convicted and accepted their guilt, there was no need for a formal hearing in the matter.
The allegations were made by on-field umpires Masudur Rahman and Ruchira Pilliyaguruge, third umpire Ravindra Vimalasiri, and fourth umpire Ghazi Sohail.
India won by 5 wickets. In the second match of the Asia Cup, India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets.
Pakistan had scored 147 runs after playing first in this match.
The hero of India's victory was star all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
