As two new teams in IPL 2022 are added, the IPL is planning a big auction to build up 10 teams, with two new clubs to spotlight this season.

IPL administration has already given all clubs till November 30th, 2021, to announce their squad of retained and dismissed players. The two new clubs Ahmadabad and Lucknow, on the other hand, will now join the new team in IPL 2022 by acquiring their team players on the next auction day. It is also stated that the major auction would be placed in Bangalore.


New teams in IPL 2022 In India

The first match of the IPL 2022 season is expected to take place on March 27, 2022, at Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed to introduce two new words for the new teams in IPL 2022 name

Hardik Pandya will be the caption of the two new teams in the IPL 2022 auction date. Gary Kirsten has been named the team’s batting coach, and Ashish Nehra has been named the team’s bowling coach. Vikram Solanki, a former England cricketer, is the ‘Director of Cricket.’


IPL 2022 is all set to go with two new teams Lucknow super Giant and Ahmadabad. With this, the total number of teams rose to 10. New teams in IPL 2022 will have 74 league matches.

The BCCI has finalized the state of Maharashtra to be the host for the game as it has four cricket stadiums. Three in Mumbai and one in Pune where multiple games can be organized simultaneously.
